First meeting of Parent-Teacher Association of the current academic year is scheduled to be
held on Sunday, 20th September 2015. As per the governemnt norms, Parent-Teacher association will be formed during the meeting.
In the second session, the answer papers of the students of Mid-term exams will be made available for observation of parents. Teachers will also be available for discussing students' performances and other related matter in respective classrooms.
The timings of this program are:
11am to 12pm : PTA Meeting
12pm to 2pm : Discussion with teachers and observation of answerpapers
Students of Class VIII had a outing at Bhimashankar, Naneghat and Ojhar on Sunday 22nd August.
They had Darshan of Lord Shiva at Bhimashankar,
one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
They also visited Ojhar and had Darshan of Lord Ganesha, one of the Ashtavinayaks.
On way back, they enjoyed lovely and cloudy atmosphere at Naneghat, the historical ghat which connects the rest of maharashtra to Konkan.
Pkvm's Drawing Department arranged a Drawing competition on July 22, 2015 in the school. The students of class V to VIII participated in the competition with entusiasm. The activity was carried out under the guidance of Art Teachers of the school.
School's Home Science department arranged 'Cook n Serve' competition for the students on July 20, 2015. The senior high school students participated in the activity and exhibited their cooking skills by preparing delicious recipies. The activity took place under the guidance of Dr. Mrs. Jyoti Thakare.
Teachers of Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary sections of PKVM appeared for yearly appraisal test conducted by Pravara Rural Education Society on Saturday, 20th June.
U17 soccer team of PKVM reached the State Level Subroto Mukharjee Football Tournament this
morning. They beat Pune District in the final match of Divisional Tourney held at Solapur.
State Level matches will be played at Thane from August 14, 2015.
They were coached by Physical Director of the school Ms. Gadhe.
Aanapan Training jointly conducted by Maharashtra Praathamik Shikshan Parishad
and Vipashyana Vishva Vidyalay, Igatpuri was held in PKVM on Saturday 8th August 2015.
Students of Class V to X participated in the one and half hour training.
Gurukul students of Class V & VI had a outing at Vishramgad, near Bhandardara (Tal. Akole,
Dist. Ahmednagar) yesterday. On Vishramgad, also known as Patt Killa, they enjoyed trekking in a cloudy and hilarious rainy climate.
They also visited historical guest house, grain depot, towers and other places on the fort. On the way up, they observed and studied rare medical plants in the forest.
On return, the students expressed their joy and shared the experiances of informative learning of history, geography, botany, wild life, etc. right on the field.
They were accompanied and guided by the teachers Ms. A.V. Ghogare, Ms. S.N. Nirmal, Shri. T. U. Pagare and Shri. V.V. Nichal.
Gurukul students of PKVM exhibited an example of social commitment by helping Guha(Tal. Rahuri)
based orphanage students on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
Gurukul students of Class V & VI visited Gangadhar Baba Chhatralay at Guha, Tal. Rahuri, Dist. Ahmednagar on Tuesday. They distributed books, notebooks, pens, bags, other school material and clothes, biscuits, fruits, grains etc., they have collected with self-inspiration, to the students of orphanage.
This social initiative took place under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Supriya Tambe and teachers Miss. Ghogare, Mrs. Nirmal and Mrs. Pawar.
Welcome to School Day was celebrated in enthusiasm on Monday, 15th June in PKVM.
The girls newly admitted to Std I to XII were welcomed by school in a very warm manner. Textbooks were distributed for free to the students
of Std V to VIII under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan.
The students who topped in SSC and HSC Board Exams held in March 2015 were felicitated along with their parents. The teachers who are transferred to PKVM from other schools of the PRES were also welcomed.
Shri.K.P. Nana Aher Patil, Sr. Director of PRES, Dr. P.G.Reddy, Secretary (Non-Technical Sections) and Dr. Annasaheb Tambe, Secretary (School Education) were the guests of honour at this function..
PKVM students once again gave
a Great Hounor to their School by producing 100% results in both SSC and HSC Exams
held in March 2015. SSC, HSC-Home Science, HSC-Science, HSC-Electronics Technology,
and HSC-Medical Lab Technician results of March 2015 Exams conducted by
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations, Pune are 100%.
Ms. Pooja Yashwant Nikam topped in the School with 96.40% marks in SSC Exam whereas Ms. Rohini Shivaji Kale stood first in HSC Home Science with 83.69% marks.
Ms. Utkarsha Raosaheb Kanade topped in HSC Science with 87.84% marks and Ms. Simran Gulmersingh Punjabi came first in HSC Vocational Course with 78.00% marks.
